Services We Provide

Music Therapy Within Schools, Hospitals
A Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) will provide group and/or individual music therapy
services (assessment, treatment, documentation) within facility on a contract basis.  Referrals
may be made by physicians, teachers, school administrators, case managers and parents.  
MT-BC will collaborate with other members of clients' treatment team to determine
individualized goals and treatment plan.

Home-Based Music Therapy/Adapted Music Lessons
A Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) will provide individual music therapy services
(assessment, treatment, documentation) and/or adapted music lessons within client's home.  
No previous music experience necessary; clients/students will be accepted based upon
availability.  A variety of payment options are available, including assistance with billing
insurance for music therapy services.

Music Therapy Assessment
A Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) will conduct a music therapy assessment to
determine if music therapy services would be appropriate for an individual
without obligation
to hire CODA MTS to provide services
.  In the case of special education students, assistance
can be provided to implement music therapy into an
Individualized Education Plan.

Co-Treatment
A Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) will collaborate with and simultaneously treat client
with another member of client's treatment team (e.g. speech therapist, occupational
therapist, physical therapist, etc).
  

Music Education Consulting
A Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) will assist music educators in designing and
implementing appropriate music education experiences for students will disabilities.   

In-service Education
A Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) will provide educational presentations for
professional staff or group meetings regarding the use of music therapy within a variety of
client populations.  Presentations can be designed to fit specified time frames and may
include supportive research and experiential activities.
